Citrus Week Menu - January 23 to 29

Many of our guests have told us how much they enjoy our seasonal menu weeks, like Berry Week in the spring or Tomato Week in the summer. This year we're adding a seasonal menu for the winter - our Citrus Week menu. Chef has crafted a series of special offerings across all three courses. For instance, you could start out with a Persian Cucumber Salad featuring Grilled Pineapple and a Thai Lemon Vinaigrette or Korean Style Spare Ribs with Candied Lemon. Entrée options include a Cara Cara Gingered Top Sirloin with Mandarin Oil, Seared Scallops featuring Texas Rubys, and Pork Scallopini with Blood Oranges. To finish things off, we're preparing a Tangerine Cake and a Lemon Lime Ginger Cheese Cake. And, of course, we'll have a selection of Citrus Cocktails for you to enjoy with your meal. This menu is available at lunch and dinner, but for just one week.

Valentine's Day is coming up fast, and we know you want to make your dinner with your loved one a truly memorable occasion. The three-course menu will be offered for $60, with wine pairings available for just $20 more. So that we can make this menu the finest it can be, our everyday menu will take the night off, and no other promotions will apply for this day.

LG Gives Back - Supporting Hope Net to Fight Hunger in the Community

We are proud to be a neighborhood restaurant, and part of that mission means being a good neighbor. We're proud to support a number of local charities and organizations. Whether it's the Concern Foundation and its mission to fund research on cancer or the Windsor Square - Hancock Park Historical Society which aims to preserve the history of our neighborhood, we enjoy partnering with great organizations. In February, we're featuring a promotion to benefit Hope Net, whose mission is to eliminate hunger and homelessness in Los Angeles. Every Thursday throughout February, we will be donating 20% of dinner sales to Hope Net. So, join us for dinner on a Thursday next month so you can do some good while dining well.

Coming in February - New Kid's Menu with Healthier Choices

We're concerned about healthier eating for kids, and we know you are as well. Because of that, our kitchen is currently testing an updated kid's menu that offers more options for healthy dining for our youngest guests. Of course, we'll still keep our commitment to providing delicious food that kids enjoy. Look for this new menu to launch in late February.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 19 at 6:30 pm when winemaker Jann Forth will join us in our Winemaker Dinner series. This fantastic winemaker, along with her husband, produce amazing wines from the Dry Creek region of California. These fun and knowledge-filled dinners are a chance to sit with a winemaker and discuss the craft from growing all the way to bottling. Our Chef is crafting a five-course menu to compliment Forth Vineyard's exceptional wines. The event will include an “Aroma bar” to assist in identifying the nose of each wine. Relax with a "Mid-Day Matinee" During Our New Hours of Operation

Customers have told us that Larchmont Grill's patio and dining room are perfect places to relax with friends, family, or colleagues. We're making it easier to do just that with our new "Mid-Day Matinee" menu. The menu, offered from Tuesday to Friday between lunch and dinner service, is perfect for a late lunch. You'll also love our small plates (priced at just $6) such as Crab Cake Sliders or Bacon Mac & Cheese Squares or Cauliflower Fritters. Celebrating holidays with loved ones at Larchmont Grill has become a tradition for many families, and we're giving you two options for Easter this year. On Easter Sunday (April 24), the Grill will be open for brunch from 10 am to 3 pm and for dinner service from 5 pm to 10 pm. Since Sunday is prix fixe at Larchmont Grill, our Easter brunch will feature a three-course prix fixe for adults for $34.95 and a two-course prix fixe for kids for $15.95. Special Spicemonger's Dinner on December 1

You’ve come to expect truly special events from Larchmont Grill. We’re very pleased to be announcing an event sure to exceed your expectations. On Wednesday, December 1, 2010, the team at Larchmont Grill will be partnering with Silver Lake’s Spice Station to offer a special Spicemonger’s Dinner. Modeled after the traditional Winemaker’s Dinners at many great restaurants, our dinner will showcase the spices and spice blends from Spice Station alongside the freshest and finest tastes from Larchmont Grill’s kitchen.

Over the course of the dinner, the teams from Spice Station and Larchmont Grill will discuss the provenance of the spices and ingredients for each course, and share the history of spices and how they interact with foods to create truly flavorful dishes. Guests will have ample opportunity for questions, and special holiday gift packs of spices featured on the menu will be available for purchase.

The five-course menu will be available for just $65, and special wine and cocktail pairings will be offered as well. Expanded Hours of Operation

Effective November 8, 2010, we’re extending our hours of operation at Larchmont Grill. While we’ll continue the same luncheon service you’ve come to expect from Mondays to Fridays (including free delivery), we will remain open with a special mid-day menu from 2:30 to 5:30 from Tuesdays to Fridays. With our new bar, and free wi-fi throughout the Grill, our new mid-day offering makes Larchmont Grill a great option for an afternoon meeting or an after-work libation. In addition, we will be extending our dinner service into the late night on Fridays and Saturdays, with seatings up to 11:00 PM. This will allow you to make the Grill a perfect stop-off for a late dinner or a night-cap after a movie or the theatre. We’re thrilled to be expanding our hours so we can offer you more opportunities to visit us for the great food you’ve come to expect and the refreshing cocktails you’ll soon savor.


Potato Week - November 8 to 14

Spuds? Taters? Tubers? Murphies? Whatever you call it, there’s no denying that the potato is one of the most underappreciated foods. It feeds people on every continent on the planet, has been domesticated for over 10,000 years, and it is rich in many important nutrients from vitamin C to fiber, yet it is most often cast as Best Supporting Vegetable and never given a shot at a leading role.

We are on a mission to change the profile of this most versatile of vegetables by featuring a special “Potato Week” menu that stars many varieties of the King of Tubers, along with an abundance of the freshest flavors of fall. This special menu will be available at lunch and dinner along with the everyday menus, but only for one week - from November 8 to 14.

The menu features items that demonstrate the potato’s versatility across all three courses - from appetizers to desserts. It will include items such as Sweet Potato Gnocchi with fried sage and shaved chestnuts, a Sweet Onion & Purple Potato Tart, a Grilled Caesar Fingerling Potato Salad, Sweet Potato Cheesecake, and Spiced Dutch Potato Doughnuts


Larchmont Grill Winemaker’s Dinner with Krisi Raymond of Five Vintners

On September 16 at 6:30 p.m. winemaker Krisi Raymond of Five Vintner’s Winery will visit Larchmont Grill for a 5 course wine-pairing dinner. Ms. Raymond represents the fifth generation in her family to grow grapes and make wine in the Napa Valley. Her family roots run deep, dating back to 1876 when her great-great grandfather Jacob Beringer, together with his brother Frederick, established Beringer Brothers Winery just north of St. Helena.

For this event, Chef Adelfo Francisco will pair dishes that bring out each wine nuances and flavors. We are so excited to have Ms. Raymond here for his event!

Larchmont Grill's Tomato Week Menu Features the Summer's Most Savory Tastes from August 23 to 29

Late summer is about more than just one last weekend at the beach before school starts up or one last ride down a cooling water slide. It’s about celebrating what the warm sun brings to fruit across the gardens and farms of southern California. The tomato is the perfect example of this, with its rich blend of sweet and savory flavors that are never more full than in August. To celebrate late summer, Larchmont Grill is offering a special tomato week menu from August 23 to 29.

"Tomatoes are at their very freshest in the late summer," said Sean Bates, owner. "Our week-long tomato week menu is crafted to showcase the very freshest tastes tomatoes bring, paired with other in- season flavors to complement them perfectly."

The menu, which is available for just one week, features items that demonstrate the tomato's versatility across all three courses — from appetizers to desserts. For instance, among the appetizers available are the Moon-Dried Tomato Spring Roll, stuffed with avocado and crab meat and the Tomato-Fig Tart, with sweet onions and roasted yellow cherry tomatoes. Entrees offered include a Petit Filet with Stuffed Tomatoes, where the tomatoes are stuffed with gorgonzola and crispy bacon and are accompanied by sauteed shallots and green beans, a Grilled Artichoke with Tomato Gratinade, in a lemon, rosemary, and sun-dried tomato sauce, and a Garlic Lamb Loin, served over Israeli couscous with a tomato, cucumber and feta cheese mint yogurt sauce.

"Our kitchen team loves creating new dishes that highlight the season's tastes," said Adelfo Francisco, chef. "And nothing motivates us more than the feedback we get from guests on how much they enjoy our seasonal special menus."

As a part of Larchmont Grill’s commitment to community-supported agriculture and to urban sustainability, the tomato week menu features varieties of tomatoes grown right here in Los Angeles. "We've been able to partner with Lavender Hill Farm to grow tomatoes right here in downtown Los Angeles," explains Mark Donofrio, owner, "and the tomato week menu lets us introduce our guests to some of the many varieties we've been able to cultivate down on the farm."
